• Job Card – Use this function to view activities performed on this client. This function shall be used to view job card records from VODIA version 5.1 to 5.2.9.
• User Sessions – Use this function to view activities performed on this client. From VODIA version 5.2.10 this function replaces ‘Job Card’. Every activity performed on version 5.2.10 and above will store its records in this function.
• Chassis ID Info From VDA – Retrieve information for a specific Chassis ID from the centrally stored Vehicle Data Administration (VDA) database. Note! This function does not apply to our new series of engines.
• Conversation/Accessory kit wizard – The wizard helps you to find the right conversion kit for your application. Note! This function does not apply to our new series of engines. Kits for these engines are presented, if valid for specified Chassis ID, in the function ‘Order Software’.
Log Test Templates and Recordings
In Log Test Templates and Recordings it is possible to view recordings created in the Log Test operation at “Diagnostics -> Service and Maintenance”.
To look at recordings made by other users, it is also possible to import and export them. They will be saved in the “.vlr” file format.
Standard templates have been created for a certain purpose and contain a set of parameters needed for this purpose. All standard templates are displayed in this operation.
Custom templates are created by the users by duplicating, importing or creating a new template. These templates can be edited, even during a logging. Parameters can be added or removed. The number of selected PID/PPID parameters is limited. Custom templates can be exported, as a “.vlts” file, and shared with other VODIA users. All custom templates are displayed in this operation.
A parameter may be visualized in a graph. Select the desired parameters and press “Add Graph”.
If the ECU can´t read/detect a parameter, the ECU will send an excessive and static parameter value. The cause for this could be; no sensor connected or available.
